Craig Simpson is a seasoned insurance executive with over 35 years of experience in insurance broking, risk management, product development, and business leadership across New Zealand and South Africa. Renowned for delivering innovative insurance solutions, Craig focuses on creating value beyond risk coverage—developing strategies that align with clients’ short- and long-term goals.

He has held senior roles at one of New Zealand’s largest brokerages and a boutique direct insurer, where he led corporate business development, product innovation, and team leadership. His entrepreneurial journey includes founding and successfully exiting Leading Edge Insurance Brokers and co-directing HW Brokers in South Africa.

Now joining IPG as an Associate Partner, Craig brings a wealth of experience to businesses seeking personalised, holistic insurance and risk management solutions.

He holds a Diploma of Insurance Broking (NZQA Level 5), is a former Senior Associate of ANZIIF (CIP), and has completed the NZCFS Level 5 (v2). Craig is a member of the Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand.
